Gillingham signing says he’ll bring ‘gay business, racism and s——g’ in leaked video

Video appears to show Remeao Hutton introducing himself to his new team-mates following his move from Swindon Town

Gillingham are holding talks with new signing Remeao Hutton after a leaked video showed the full-back appearing to introduce himself as someone who will bring ‘gay business and racism’ to the club.
The clip, which has appeared on social media, shows Hutton filming his chest and saying, “breasticles” before introducing himself as being 25, from Birmingham and having a “triangle head”.
He then also adds: “What am I going to bring to the group? I’m going to bring some gay business. I am going to bring some racism. Obviously I will win everyone over eventually. Then, just on nights out, just try and bring some things to the table.
“Try and get you to, you know, do a little bit of s——g and that. For me it don’t count if you s— your missus … so don’t be coming in saying, ‘I got some action last night’. It don’t count. Who wants to s— their missus anyway? The main one is the racism thing. I love that. And I am on it, if you want to call me anything, feel free.”
Gillingham have said that the club are talking to Hutton regarding the video, which appears to be some sort of initiation or introduction to his new team-mates following his move from Swindon Town last week. “We are aware of this private video and we are talking to the player directly,” said a statement.
Upon arriving at Gillingham, Hutton told the club’s website: “Everyone seems really friendly here so I can’t wait to get going. The new owners are looking to grow the club and I want to be a part of that.
“I know a few of the lads already so that was a factor in coming here. I want to create as many chances as possible.”
Head Coach Stephen Clemence said: “I am delighted that we have managed to secure Remeao’s signature. We have worked very hard to get this over the line and I am so happy to have him here.
“He is an athletic player who likes to get forward and his crossing from wide areas is superb. He will be a real asset to the team and we are very much looking forward to working with him.”
